Accounts Payable Supervisor

Discovery Natural Resources LLC is a domestic, onshore exploration and production company with over 1,000 wells in operation in Texas.
Reporting to the Assistant Controller-Financial, the Accounts Payable Supervisor will provide strong technical and analytical skills to drive accounts payable and field accounting process initiatives, in addition to overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function and supervising a team of Accounts Payable and Field Accounting Technicians in multiple locations
- Oversee, direct, and manage the accounts payable and field accounting teams to ensure compliance with established procedures and controls.
- Drive process improvements using Enverus software: OpenInvoice, OpenTicket, PriceBook, and Early Pay Discount.
- Manage analytics program using available data within Enverus modules to identify billing anomalies and oversee issue resolution based on results of analytics program.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement ongoing process enhancements.
- Manage strategic onboarding of OpenTicket, PriceBook, Early Pay Discount, and Credit Card/ACH vendors.
- Establish accounts payable KPIs to monitor processes using business analytic software.
- Troubleshoot issues, document new requirements, and provide solutions.
- Oversee year-end 1099 process.
- Conduct/Oversee Vendor Audits
- Other duties as required by Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a combination of a bachelor’s degree in another discipline and corresponding relevant industry specific accounting experience.
- Minimum of six years related experience is preferred to include three years supervisory experience.
- Commitment to Discovery Natural Resources expectations and core values.
- Strong understanding of Enverus OpenInvoice, PriceBook, and OpenTicket and understanding of Enverus supplier submission types – Direct Entry, LIDO, B2B, OBO.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (vlookups & pivot tables) is required to perform data analytics.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills – team player; works well with other functional groups including operations, supply chain, joint interest billing, etc.

Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated pay range: $89,000 - $107,000 (depending upon experience of the successful candidate)

*Frequently sit for extended periods of time. Regularly view a computer screen for extended periods of time. Regularly type on a keyboard and/or perform data entry continuously.
